Babe Lake 4WD Adventure: 4 Days

Discover Babe Lake national park by boat and see limestone grottoes, caves, and lush green tropical jungles. The 4WD journey takes you through picturesque country side dotted with tribal villages to complete your cultural tour of the north.

Your tour program in details

Day 1: Hanoi – Lang Son

Morning: Pick up at hotel. Drive to Lang Son (3 hours), stopover to visit But Thap Pagoda on the way.

Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Visit Nhi Thanh and Tam Thanh Caves, To Thi Rock, Fairy Pagoda and Dong Kinh Market. Dinner and accommodation at hotel.

Meals: Lunch/ Dinner

Day 2: Lang Son – Dong Khe – Coc Xa

Morning: Depart for Dong Khe (3 hours). Visit Na Keo hill which still remains the communication trench used by French army during the war. Lunch at local restaurant in Dong Khe.
Afternoon: Trekking through forests and mountains to Coc Xa village ( 8km = 2h30 walk). Enjoy beautiful landscapes dotted with the villages of the Tay minority people. Studying the life style of Tay people. Dinner and accommodation at Coc Xa village.

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Day 3: Coc Xa – Ba Be Lake – Cho Ra

Morning: Breakfast. Trekking back to the Highway 4A by another way (8km = 1h30) through a local market.
Drive to Cho Ra (4 hours). Transfer to basic hotel, lunch.
Afternoon: Boat trip downstream the Nang River into Ba Be Lake, exploring the National Park by boat with stops to visit the limestone grottoes and Tay and Nung ethnic minority villages.
Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the unspoilt tropical jungle, emerald waters, limestone mountains and the tribal life style. Drive back to Cho Ra for dinner and accommodation at hotel.

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner

Day 4: Cho Ra – Thai Nguyen – Hanoi

Drive to Thai Nguyen, lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Ethnology Museum to see its rich displays of the cultures of the various ethnic groups of Vietnam. Return to Hanoi.

Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch

Admission fees for all tourist places. Permission for village overnight Overnight in villages, 01 nights in total
Twins sharing room at 2 star hotel. 02 night in total.
